Welcome to the Human Resources Association of
Southern Maryland website.  

The Human Resources Association of Southern Maryland (HRASM) is a non-profit Human Resources organization with over 125 members from the tri-county area of Southern Maryland comprised of Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's counties.  Our membership includes professionals from all levels of HR and from a variety of businesses and government agencies.

Our mission is to provide networking, educational, advisory and training opportunities to HR professionals in Southern Maryland.  HRASM members can take advantage of many activities and programs for professional growth and improvement while meeting and networking with other locally based professionals. We promote a diverse membership through continuous recruiting, and welcome new members and encourage their active involvement in the association. We are your local network of HR professionals.

HRASM Inclement Weather Policy
It is the policy of the Human Resources Association of Southern Maryland (HRASM) to make every effort to hold meetings, roundtables, and half day seminars as scheduled. However, in the interest of the safety of our members, it may occasionally be necessary to cancel a meeting due to inclement weather. In the event that schools are closed for the day, due to inclement weather, in the county in which the meeting is being held, all events scheduled by HRASM will also be cancelled. As always, your safety is our first concern. Please make a thoughtful decision about attending the scheduled HRASM event, based on the weather conditions in your locale. At the discretion of the board, meetings may be cancelled under other circumstances as well. Catering costs, room rental fees and any other expenses incurred as a result of the inclement weather cancellation will be paid with HRASM reserved funds. (HRASM Board approved July 18, 2007)
