Berkshire Associates is searching for an experienced and successful Director of Human Resources on behalf of a national healthcare association located in the Silver Spring, MD area.   

In summary, this individual will be charged with providing strategic and visionary leadership by directing the planning, organization, administration and evaluation of all human resource programs, including employment, recruitment, labor relations, benefits, training, compensation, and human resource information systems. 

Qualified candidates will possess a M.A. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, including employee/labor relations and generalist functions, at least 7 years of which include supervisory/ management responsibility. Experience in a union environment is strongly preferred.
